(CBS Local) – It’s been over 10 years since “Lost” last aired and it’s the project that took actor Dominic Monaghan to a whole new level. Monaghan played Charlie Pace in the hit television series and also starred in films like “The Lord of the Rings” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”.
CBS Local DJ Sixsmith recently caught up with Monaghan to discuss his new movie “Edge of the World”, memories of “Lost” and being in an Eminem music video.

“I am a big fan of this part of the world. I have been fortunate enough to travel to South East Asia about 10 times and love the food there, the people, the animals, the weather and everything about it, ”said Monaghan. “When that opportunity presented itself and for me to be able to come on board as a producer and actor of the film, it gave me the chance to continue to know this part of the world. The character that I play is a bit stuck. between the British Empire and the Borneo romance.The person he is trying to protect is also going through that experience.
“Edge of the World” is available today on digital and VOD. The film is set in the 1830s when a woman named Brooke flees England to explore Borneo. While Monaghan has been playing for a minute now, he still remembers coming to Hollywood at the age of 25.

“I did everything that people do.
